Why This Site Exists
Murray City keeps municipal records, permits, local GIS files, cemetery material, and its staff directory. Salt Lake County maintains land, tax, marriage, election, and jail records. Utah agencies run statewide courts, voter services, vital records, licensing, business, offender, and archive systems. Federal court names require PACER, whose access and fee model is described by the federal judiciary. We organize these routes around the record a reader needs.
What You Can Find
- Pages by record type: public records, voter registration records, and people directories
- Custodian contacts: the Recorder, courts, Assessor, elections staff, vital records offices, and Murray City Recorder
- Practical search steps: ways to trace a court party, parcel owner, historical resident, or official contact
- Utah access rules: what GRAMA opens, what remains restricted, and which request route applies when no index exists
Limits on Our Role
This is a privately operated reference site. We are not connected with Murray City, Salt Lake County, the State of Utah, any court, or any records custodian. Those boundaries mean:
- We do not obtain, certify, or amend a record for a visitor
- We cannot verify that a named person currently lives in Murray
- We cannot delete data held by an agency or outside service
- We do not provide legal advice about the effect of a record
- We cannot promise that a portal, fee, or office detail has not changed
A custodian alone can verify, certify, or correct its record. Results may not be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decisions.
